Before we get to the pictures of animals..(of which there are many at the Bronx Zoo)....The architecture of the original buildings is wonderful..when the zoo opened it consisted of three major buildings..the Elephant House, Monkey House and the Cat House. The facades and sculptures are beautiful and I hope that everything possible is done to protect them and insure they will be there for future generations

And now, the animals!! Ciaran liked all the monkeys the best...he also enjoyed the sea lions a lot. I think he could sit and watch the monkeys playing for hours!!
